2000 LeSabre Keyless Entry Stopped Working?

Recently the #2 remote for my LeSabre stopped working. I replaced the batteries and held down lock and unlock to re-sync the remote, and nothing happend. I had problems with the remote loosing power before, but I found that the little clasp that holds the battery down had partially come off, so I soldered it back on. what should I do now?
