Why do people from the Western civilization ignore or deny this?

It's not ignored or denied. This has been happening in Zimbabwe for a number of years and has been well doented on British news. Western governments are unwilling to take any action against Mugabe though, for reasons best known to the themselves, which is the real disgrace
