Mitch McConell told GOP leaders in DC Repubs need to reach out to minority voters?

Mitch McConnell recently told GOP leaders in Wa DC if their party is to rebuild and have victory they need to reach out more to minority voters, To me such message is disturbing and indicates a GOP party which will continuing moving to the left. Is this party ever going to get back to true Ronald Reagan conservatism ? Or will they continue moving left ? Shouldn't the GOP be focusing on getting back to core conservative principles instead of trying to reinvent and market themselves to a broader electorate ? God bless. .
