Instead of mavs-nets trade, why not try...?

They want Kidd because they need speed and a point guard that would be reliable come playoff time. The guy they have at the point right now I believe is only a rookie or a sophmore and is not as good as Kidd. They want Kidd because he's been to the playoffs many times before.
