Can anyone answer my question about triad relationships?

My husband and I have been in a triad relationship for about 2 years now. It is an MMF and it started out really hot and heavy. Our partner now lives with us and we all get along really good but over the past 6 months we all found ourselves "playing" with only one partner at a time. This works well for us but now I am not sure if we are still considered a triad or not?
