OH MY GOD HELP ME please!!!!!!?

i am going on a cruise next week. and i heard that cruises can be windy. so i was wondering what are some ways to prevent from my hair getting all messed up. and if it is a hat or a bandanna will my hair come out wierd cause i got thick hair. give me many examples. thankyou.
