Has anyone ever used a Rug Doctor to clean leather upholstery?

I bought a leather sectional sofa (used) and it needs a deep cleaning. I really feel that it needs to be steam cleaned. I don't have a lot of money to spend, Stanley Steemer wanted $295. I was thinking about using a Rug Doctor with the upholstry attachment. I have used the Rug Doctor on my carpets and been satisfied. Has anyone else ever tried this?
