High beams stuck on 2000 Lesabre?

I got into my car to go to work tonight, and noticed that my high beams are stuck on, my car has daytime running lights, so this means they're on permanently. I've done some searching on the web and found that it may be the multi function switch, or dimmer switch. I do want to ask, if I was to remove the fuses for the high beam headlamps (there's 3), would this fix my problem?
